Released in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée, the album Live at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Medinea Session, Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée, recorded at the 2022 Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, is available on CD and on all streaming platforms.

The Festival d’Aix-en-Provence is delighted to announce that, last night, Gluck’s Iphigénie en Aulide — Iphigénie en Tauride, the opening production of its 2024 edition, was awarded the prize for best production of the year at the 2024 International Opera Awards!

The Festival d’Aix-en-Provence is pleased to announce that Dmitri Tcherniakov’s production of Iphigénie en Aulide — Iphigénie en Tauride staged for the 2024 Festival d’Aix has been nominated for an Opera Award in the New Production category.

From 3 to 23 July 2024 so many of you came to experience the 7 opera and music theatre productions, including 2 world premieres; the 14 concerts, including one opera in concert version; the 33 preludes to the productions; the 6 ‘Midis du Festival’; and the 17 ‘Tête-à-tête’ with the artists. The 2024 Festival d’Aix also included 4 days of Professional Meetings and the Aix en juin lead-up, with its 34 events.

We thank all those who made this 2024 edition possible: the artists, technicians, public and private partners, patrons, journalists, and professionals of all kinds. We thank you, the members of the audience, for your loyalty and enthusiasm!
