Once upon a time there was a type of musical narrative in which the 'ûd – the main protagonist – would be surrounded by five musicians from different musical backgrounds to build a musical Udopia, using polyphony, improvisation and the musical traditions of the Balkans and Greece. This ensemble of internationally renowned artists offers a new musical language based on the oral tradition and modern musical poetics.
