CINEMA CYCLE — CHINESE ROULETTE
DIRECTED BY RAINER WERNER FASSBINDER, 1976
A wealthy industrialist invites his mistress to his country house, where he runs into his wife, also accompanied by her lover. The two adulterous couples decide to spend the weekend together. A fierce game ensues from which no one will emerge unscathed. Chinese Roulette, one of Fassbinder's most controversial films, is both a satire of the bourgeoisie and a disturbing portrait that reveals the cruelty and the dark side within all of us.
Film echoing Così fan tutte.
