A birthday book that covers the last twelve years of the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and its sixty operatic productions. It is obvious that the Festival d'Aix never favoured a single style or aesthetic- it followed a path of creation and pursued the direction of providing meaning to our world. It is a firmly held conviction that has carried the Festival d'Aix team over the years.
