PROFESSIONAL DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL D’AIX-EN-PROVENCE

For its 2024 edition, The Professional Days of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence offer artists and professionals from the world of opera and live performance an exceptional programme of discussion and exchange, thus allowing individuals in the sector to come together. In the dynamic setting generated by the Festival and its programming, the three days of focused meetings are being held on 7, 8 and 9 July, to encourage this interprofessional dialogue.

July 7 — Concert-performance de la Résidence Plurisdisciplinaire

The final concert of the Multidisciplinary Residency will serve as an introductory event for the Professional Days. Such collective creation naturally inspires audiences to reflect upon the issues that exist in the areas of music and performance today.

July 8 — Opera Makers

The OPERA MAKERS sessions of the Académie du Festival d’Aix will offer participants various spaces and contexts to meet and discuss with international artists and professionals in the sector. The day will conclude with the awarding of SACEM’s “Pulsations Contemporaines” prize.

9 juillet — Accord Majeur National Meeting

With France hosting the Olympic Games this summer, the 12th edition of the Accord Majeur National Meeting, organised in partnership with the Festival, will ask professionals, political figures, artists, researchers and others to reflect upon the theme: 'Music As an Olympic Discipline?'.
