FINAL CONCERT VOICE RESIDENCY

The Voice Residency's final concert is always a popular hit for both mainstream concertgoers and members of the profession, because it allows them to discover the most promising singers of the new generation in an original artistic venture that showcases their talent. This year, after honing their skills in contemporary music under Barbara Hannigan, the residents will be guided in concert by Emmanuelle Haïm and Le Concert d’Astrée through the enchanted musical intricacies of Handel — the last epic figure to join this season’s line-up of the greatest of the greatest from the Baroque. We will be treated to a veritable fireworks of arias, duets and orchestral movements from the composer’s finest works — conducted in turn by Emmanuelle Haïm and Camille Delaforge, the conductor in residence.
