Booking for mobility-impaired visitors

The Festival d’Aix-en-Provence offers booking facilities to meet the needs of mobility-impaired spectators so that they can access their theater seats.

  • Throughout the year, an exclusive contact is available from the booking to the performance.
  • Spectators in wheelchair and their guides benefit from a special rate for all the performances (subject to availibility).
  • Specific seating has been reserved for wheelchair users and their companions.
  • Early booking is necessary.
Booking for visually-impaired visitors

Every year, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence in collaboration with the association Accès Culture schedules a performance in audio-description. This technique enhances the listening experience and helps feed the imagination of blind or visually impaired audience members by live streaming descriptive information through wireless headsets.

The performance of Falstaff on 6 July 2021 will offer an audio description service. Subject to confirmation and availability.

  • An exclusive contact is available from the booking to the performance. Book with julia.bonnet@festival-aix.com. Subject to availability.
  • Please advise us when booking tickets so that we can organise your welcome as best as possible.
