BLIND AND VISUALLY-IMPAIRED FESTIVALGOERS

— Operas with audio-described performances:
Every year, in partnership with the organisation Accès Culture, the Festival offers blind and visually-impaired individuals the opportunity to attend one or several audio-described performances.

The auto-description technique live-streams descriptive information about the visual elements of the production, the staging, the set and the costumes, via headphones.

On the night of the performance, you will receive specialized attention upon your arrival. You will be provided with a free pair of headphones and, if you wish, a programme in braille or with enlarged fonts.

Blind or visually-impaired audience members and their companions enjoy a reduced ticket price of €31 (instead of €130), subject to availability.

This summer, the following operas will be performed with audio-description:
IDOMENEO*
Monday, 11 July 2022, at 9:30 p.m. at the Théâtre de l’Archevêché
