Exceptionnal guests of the Carte Blanche to Jean-Guihen Queyras, other members of the Arcanto Quartet - Antje Weithaas, Tabea Zimmermann, and Daniel Sepec - will give master classes to Académie's ensembles which will also benefit from the advice of violinists András Keller and David Alberman. This skills-building residency is for established string quartets and piano trios wishing to deepen and renew their approach to the repertoire in all its diversity. Furthermore, in allowing them to workalongside composers, it will give them the opportunity to experiment with contemporary creation.

Some work sessions may be open to the public.
The residency will give rise to several public performances during the Festival, in Aix-en-Provence and its surroundings.

Master classes and accommodation expenses are covered by the Festival as well as meal allowances.
Travel expenses are to be covered by the participants.
