TRIBUTE TO MARIE NUGENT-HEAD MARLAS

It is with great sadness that the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence has learned of the death of one of its most loyal patrons and friends, Marie Nugent-Head Marlas, who passed away on Sunday, 29 December 2024.

Marie Nugent-Head Marlas had been a member of the Board of the International Friends of the Festival in the United States since its creation; her immeasurable contribution, unwavering support, and wise counsel have made a deep and lasting impression on the Festival d'Aix.

We will always remember her great kindness and her faithful and caring presence, as she supported us on both sides of the Atlantic, year after year.

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and close friends during this difficult time.
