Green Days at the Festival d’Aix

In December 2015, the Festival d’Aix demonstrated its commitment to the climate by taking part in Artcop 21. Continuing its approach to building a positive, sustainable world, two days of the Festival will be devoted to sustainable development: Saturday 9 July and Wednesday 13 July 2016.

Eco-mobility will be the order of the day; any festival-goers from Marseilles will be able to attend performances in Aix without making too much of an impact on the environment!

During the two sustainable mobility days, Cartreize will provide a shuttle service to Marseilles until the end of the performances for all shows.

• For the trip back to Marseilles after performances of Il Trionfo del Tempo (9 July) and Così fan tutte (13 July), opera-goers can book their coach ticket on 08 20 922 923 (12 cts € / min) when reserving their opera tickets. The coach will depart 20 minutes after the end of the performance on Boulevard Jean Jaurès from the Bourse bus stop (5 minutes’ walk from the Théâtre de l’Archevêché) and serve the Gare Saint-Charles (bus station) and Castellane station (Avenue Jules Cantini).
