For its 2025 edition, the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence invites artists and professionals from the world of opera and live performance for three days of thematic meetings on 7, 8 and 9 July. Within the inspiring setting of the Festival, and driven by its artistic momentum, these Professional Days focus on the sharing of ideas and experiences in order to foster interprofessional dialogue:

July 7 — Final concert Instrumental Residency

The final concert of the Instrumental Residency will serve as a kick-off event for the Professional Days. Spotlighting the work of living artists and featuring two world premieres, the program sets the right tone for three days of enriching discussion on the vibrant future of classical music.

July 8 — Opera Makers

The OPERA MAKERS sessions of the Académie du Festival d’Aix offer international artists and industry professional different opportunities to meet and exchange ideas. The day will end with the awarding of Sacem’s ‘Pulsations Contemporaines’ prizes, and the final concert of the Voice Residency, conducted by Sébastien Daucé and Guillemette Daboval.

July 9 — Accord Majeur National Meeting

For this 13th edition organised in partnership with the Festival, ACCORD MAJEUR presents Act 2 of ‘Music and Society’. As the 2026 municipal elections and 2027 presidential elections approach in France, how can we rethink the role of culture and music in shaping public policy, and the part played by their stakeholders in the art of rebuilding social ties?
