Patricia Kopatchinskaja invites festival goers—young and old alike—in an evening that combines the world of the circus and modern music including a second part unfolding under the aegis of Schoenberg’s Pierrot lunaire, a homage to the world of the cabaret. Assisted by Silvia Costa and a small instrumental group, the artist becomes a funambulist, and sparks thrills, laughs and tears.
