Three outstanding artists, long-time accomplices in the refined art of the Liederabend, are making their eagerly awaited debuts at the Festival: tenor Jonas Kaufmann and soprano Diana Damrau, accompanied by the great master of the genre, Helmut Deutsch, in an anthology of the most beautiful solo and duet works by Mahler and Strauss.
