JAKUB JÓZEF ORLIŃSKI — MICHAŁ BIEL

First revealed to the Festival in 2017, the most popular of countertenors is back for an exceptional recital at the Grand Théâtre de Provence, with the unique blend of feline grace, passionate fervour and ethereal fragility that makes him one of the most original and refreshing talents on the contemporary classical scene. He will be accompanied by his regular pianist, Michał Biel, in a repertoire consisting of Baroque arias and Polish melodies that he is particularly keen to champion. Together, they will explore a whole gamut of atmospheres and emotions ranging from serenity to humour to nostalgia.
