EV'AMU & ENSEMBLE C BARRÉ CONCERT

Les Voix de Silvacane will resound with vocal splendor under the inspiring arches of the Silvacane Abbey in La Roque d'Anthéron on June 17 and 18. An exploration of the voice in all its diversity, across centuries and continents!

The vocal ensemble of the University of Aix-Marseille EV’AMU – conducted by Philippe Franceschi – shares the stage with Sébastien Boin’s Ensemble C Barré for a concert. In the magnificent Cistercian abbey of Silvacane, these professional and amateur artists offer a journey through time and space with Sephardic and French Renaissance songs, instrumental pieces and a new creation by Basque composer Mikel Urquiza.
