DISCOVER THE FOUNTAINS OF AIX
Referred to as the ‘City of a Thousand Fountains’ and the ‘City of Water’, Aix-en-Provence, with its 250 public and private fountains, has one of the highest concentrations of fountains of all cities in Europe. You can see 10 major fountains on a walking tour offered by the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office.

STROLL ALONG THE MARKET STALLS
Aix has its fountains, but it also has its markets! Seven days a week, markets offering an array of products —food, flowers, textiles, crafts, and antiques and collectibles — come one after another, to the great delight of Aix natives and of visitors to the city.
EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE IN THE MUSEUMS OF AIX
Aix-en-Provence is also home to numerous museums and art centres that are well worth the visit. These spaces offer a two-fold experience: the opportunity to see permanent and temporary exhibitions, and to discover historical buildings and architectural works.

SEE MONTAGNE SAINTE-VICTOIRE UP CLOSE
