Pierre Audi passed away on 3 May. His sudden departure was a tremendous shock to us all. The Festival’s partners, teams and artists are now fully engaged in preparing the 2025 edition in order to present it as he had envisioned and developed it. We dedicate this 77th edition to him, in tribute to his artistic vision and unwavering commitment.
To honour the memory of this inspired artist and visionary leader — whose legacy has left an indelible mark on the future of the Festival and, more broadly, on the world of opera and artistic creation — we invite you to join us on :
— Sunday 6 July from 11am to 12:30pm, at the Grand Théâtre de Provence
Several artists from the 2025 edition of the Festival, along with others who have expressed their wish to pay tribute, will share words of remembrance or perform a refined musical programme.
