[ INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP ] AIX FESTIVAL & ADELAIDE FESTIVAL (AUSTRALIA)

On the 4 March 2019, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and the Adelaide Festival (Australia) signed an exclusive triennial coproduction and co-commission partnership starting from 2020. This partnership will each year of the three years, take a production from the Aix Festival to Australia, whilst the Aix Festival and its Académie will welcome Australian artists and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

 

We are deeply honoured to have been chosen as the main partner of the Adelaide Festival, one of the most  pioneering and  cutting edge Festivals in the world. This partnership is a first for the Aix Festival and one which will enrich its output and its international aura. We are hugely looking forward to forging this new unique bond across two continents in the field of the contemporary performing arts.
