FILMED RECORDING OF THE OPERA INNOCENCE GARNERS AN AWARD AT THE 2023 GOLDEN PRAGUE FESTIVAL

On Thursday, 21 September 2023, the video recording — produced by Camera Lucida productions in collaboration with Arte — of Kaija Saariaho’s opera Innocence was awarded the prize for Best Recording of a Stage Work at the 60th Golden Prague International Television Festival.
The jury hence rewarded director Philippe Béziat for his ability to convey, through his editing choices, the emotion and tension present in the opera, which premiered to a standing ovation at the 2021 Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
