Pene Pati and the Club des Jeunes Mécènes join our commitment to foster the opera of tomorrow.

The Club des Jeunes Mécènes offers a new generation of philanthropists the unique opportunity to develop a relationship with the Festival d’Aix and with early-career artists. This year, they will have the chance to participate in a series of exclusive conversations with Pene Pati, ambassador of the Club des Jeunes Mécènes for the 2022 season. The career of this young tenor from the Samoan Islands reflects a new generation of opera singers who are working towards more diversity in the world of opera.

The young donors of the Club des Jeunes Mécènes and members of the Opera ON programme participated in an online group event with Pene Pati on 26 April 2022. During the videoconference, the tenor discussed his career and his early successes. He’ll be making his debut at the Festival d’Aix this summer, as Aménophis in Gioacchino Rossini’s Moses and Pharaoh.

During a dedicated week in July, they enjoy a unique programme of privileged events and discussions with young artists from the Académie along with exclusive access during the entire Festival and throughout the year.
