COMPOSITION RESIDENCY : the artists in the Academie's new residency!

The Académie is delighted to announce the 6 composers chosen for this summer's Composition Residency. Working individually and collectively in seminar with renowned composer Unsuk Chin, the Académie grants these young artists an invaluable space for artistic development and exchange in the richly stimulating environment of the 2025 Festival edition.
Coming from all corners of the globe, these inspiring composers embody the vibrant and diverse future of the classical repertoire. Their gathering in Aix-en-Provence reflects the Académie's driving commitment to present-day composers established upon its founding by Pierre Boulez. In this 100th anniversary year of Boulez's birth, the Académie dedicates the Compositional Residency to his memory.
