These two fundamental principles are at the origin of Figura, written by Kaija Saariaho based on her concerto D'Om le Vrai Sens and have led to this exceptional pairing of clarinettist Kari Kriikku, of the Avanti! Quartet, and the pianist Emil Holmström, who perform pieces by the Finnish composer and by Luciano Berio.
