After researching the origins and the very essence of jazz, saxophonist and composer Raphaël Imbert presents a unique programme that combines composition and improvisation. “Make jazz a spiritual gesture”: this is the maxim of this eclectic artist whose ultimate benchmark is none other than Bach. This comprehensive performance, which includes several musicians from Compagnie Nine Spirit, is inspired by some haunting texts interpreted by the captivating voice of Marion Rampal, who juggles between the spoken word and song.
