About

This year the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée is 40 years old, a perfect occasion for reuniting previous members directed over the years by Fabrizio Cassol. Fifteen previous participants, representing almost all the influences of the Mediterranean, come together now for an act of exceptional creativity, concentrating on the voice and on string instruments in all their diversity and technical possibilities. Together, they revisit works that have figured in previous concerts by the OJM and compose their own music. Everything is done from memory, defying habits in orchestration, texture and harmony: an impressive performance that puts the audience in a trance.
