AMIR ELSAFFAR

Created by the trumpetist Amir ElSaffar, the Two Rivers Ensemble is a sextet which gathers contemporary jazz and the traditional maqams from the Middle East. This Ensemble challenges the established styles thanks to the unbelievable inventiveness of its compositions and improvisations. A musical aesthetic wich is absolutely unique.
