This creation will happen as part of The Voices of Silvacane, one of highlights of Aix en juin that make resound vocal music masterpieces under inspiring arches of the Cistercian abbey.
The repertoire of Souvnans is the reflection of songs and popular American and Afro-Caribbean music in a party-concert inviting you on a voyage from Port-au-Prince to Santiago de Cuba to New Orleans. Souvnans also hosts the multi-cultural choir Work Songs and its repertoire of Afro-American work songs, and the choir Afrimayé with its Creole songs and Afro-Caribbean secular and sacred songs.
