As a homage to the music of the Balkans and Eastern Europe, this program draws on the legacy of popular traditions and the classical repertoire, and the echoes of works in contemporary music, with a commissioned piece by the Serbian composer Jug Marković. The concert conducted by Philippe Franceschi and Sébastien Boin features the musicians of the group Aksak and the Symphony Orchestra from Aix-Marseille Université, accompanied by an amateur choir of secondary and university students and teachers from the region.
