ARTE OPERA: OPERA IN EUROPE AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

Following a first year full of success, the European cultural television station ARTE is inaugurating a second season of ARTE Opera this month, with operas from a network of 23 exceptional European opera houses, including the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

Again this year, Arte Opera will be offering free access to the operas for the entire month, first on Livestream followed by VOD, throughout Europe and around the world. With subtitling in six languages—French, German, Italian, Spanish, English and Polish—, the European cultural station aims to demonstrate the quality and diversity of opera in Europe, and to spark enthusiasm in new viewers all over the globe.
