Aix en Juin

In June, the artists of the Festival take over emblematic places of Aix-en-Provence and its region to offer everyone a festive and free musical prelude to the July performances.

Concerts, workshops, shows, masterclasses, meetings, films, participative projects, Aix en juin celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Festival by offering original artistic experiences, including an exceptional day to discover the Festival’s extraordinary collections.

Here are the key events of Aix en juin: the recitals of the Académie residencies, the concerts at Silvacane Abbey, the film cycle in the cinemas of Aix-en-Provence, the starry nights in the courtyard of the Hôtel Maynier d’Oppède and Parade[s] on the cours Mirabeau, uniting Mozart and Latin American music!

Music from the Mediterranean basin as well as from Northern Europe, jazz and musicals, African-American artists, contemporary creation, evenings paying homage to classical repertoire, so many proposals that reflect the great richness of our musical world.
