Recruitment calendar

Due to the Festival’s high level of activity, the permanent team — roughly sixty staff members — is bolstered throughout the year by various technicians, artists and other seasonal staff (especially for reception and the box office), growing to over 750 employees in June and July. Every year, for its various departments, the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence recruits:

• SEPTEMBER: Students on work-study programmes
• NOVEMBER: Longer-term seasonal staff on fixed contracts and intermittents du spectacle
• JANUARY: Booking agents and additional employees for the artistic initiatives
• MARCH: Additional support staff for the administrative department
• APRIL: Hostesses and hosts (roughly 80 persons)
• MAY: Stage crew (intermittents du spectacle)
• JUNE AND JULY: The operations team
