The irresistible Rossini is in the limelight at this intimate musical evening which, like a Parisian salon of the 19th century, brings two rising stars of voice together around the piano. Belarusian soprano Katharina Melnikova, who excelled in La Petite messe solennelle and attended the Festival d’Aix Académie’s Rossini residency in 2014, will perform alongside bass Scott Conner, who played the role of Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2015. On the menu is a tempting assortment of Rossini duets and arias, bursting with the vivacity of this celeberrimo Maestro!
