CINEMA CYCLE — LOST HIGHWAY

DIRECTED BY DAVID LYNCH — 1997 — 14 JUNE

The announcement of a death, stolen images recorded on video tapes, the encounter with a mystery man, visions… and everything changes dramatically for Fred Madison (Bill Pullman). He is put on death row for the murder of his wife Renee (Patricia Arquette) and then plunges into the strangest universe. In Lost Highway, released in 1997 and now considered as a cult film, David Lynch imagined an infernal time loop where the hero is trapped in an everlasting purgatory.

Film echoing Il Viaggio, Dante by Pascal Dusapin.
