The revival of productions on stages and screens throughout the world allows the Festival to shine out even in distance lands.

For several years, the Bolshoi Theatre and the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow have enjoyed a partnership with the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence; and every Festival d’Aix opera that has been performed before a Muscovite audience has been a resounding success. This past September, Igor Stravinsky's Rake's Progress, produced at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence in July 2017 and directed by Simon McBurney, was a triumph at the Stanislavsky Theatre. It will be followed this coming December, at the Bolshoi Theatre, by the revival of Henry Purcell's Dido and Æneas, directed by Vincent Huguet and produced at Aix in July 2018.

Productions from the 2019 Festival d'Aix will be performed in the world's finest opera venues beginning in early 2020.
