On 21 January 2020, come to our website at WWW.FESTIVAL-AIX.COM for the unveiling of the 2020 Festival d’Aix programme.
From 30 June to 18 July 2020, at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, you can see operas directed by some of the most eminent and sought-after conductors and stage directors in the world. You can also enjoy stunningly masterful concerts. Incises, an essential series for creation and contemporary music, will be present throughout the entire programme of operas and concerts, and will help introduce festival goers to the world of sound and video installations.
Not to be outdone, the Aix en Juin programme offers a month of shared music, open to all and (beginning this year) entirely free, with concerts, master classes, mini-operas, and public rehearsals, as well as Parade[s], a large open-air concert in the Cours Mirabeau. A cinema series will complete the programme, in partnership with Les Cinémas Aixois and the Institut de l’image.
