Every summer, the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra brings together promising artists from throughout the Mediterranean. Almost ninety young performers — from twenty-two different countries — are invited to attend training sessions. Come listen to these unique concerts at the Festival d’Aix or on tour — these events are not to be missed!

Under the watchful eye of the musicians of the London Symphony Orchestra, the seventy-five instrumentalists of this symphonic session are clearly determined to give the best of themselves for this symphonic concert which will be conducted by maestro Daniele Rustioni and by Quentin Hindley for the concert on tour in Mougins.

19 July — Grand Théâtre de Provence, Festival d'Aix-en-Provence
20 July — Châteauvallon - Scène nationale, Ollioules
21 July — Scène 55, Mougins

Twelve young musicians coming from the Mediterranean basin mix the musical traditions into new collective compositions where improvisation is put in the spotlight. This intercultural creation session is led by the composer and the saxophonist Fabrizio Cassol, who has been crossing the globe for more than twenty-five years with the intention of experiencing new world cultures and music.

18 July — Hôtel Maynier d’Oppède, Festival d'Aix-en-Provence
17 July — Fondation Camargo, Cassis
20 July — AJMi Jazz Club, Avignon

“Getting together, listening, and letting the music flow through you. The MYO matches up all these incredible talents from all throughout the Mediterranean.”
