2010 HSBC Laureate of the Académie and Laureate of the 2017 Gabriel Dussurget Prize, the pianist Alphonse Cemin has adopted a musical itinerary full of introspection, of respect and of recollections. The beginning of this nostalgic voyage will be the Images by Debussy. In order to bring to mind the inevitability of time passing, he will perform Shadowlines, a series of six canons by the British composer George Benjamin (Written on Skin, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence 2012). To commemorate those lost in the Great War and to pay tribute to the French composer François Couperin, he will present Le Tombeau de Couperin by Maurice Ravel.
